The geographical heart of England, Birmingham started life as a sixth- century Anglo-Saxon village. Today, much of this city of over a million dates back to post-WWII redevelopment in the 1950s and 60s. Cutting edge museums and galleries, innovative theaters and excellent shopping have contributed to Birmingham's appeal as a weekend break destination. Don't miss the hopping bars and cafes of Gas Street Basin or the fascinating creatures at the National Sea Life Centre.

The spacious mall runs through the International Convention Centre (ICC Birmingham) from Centenary Square to Canalside, featuring a number of services including a Business Reception, Starbucks, WH Smith, Castle Fine Art and access to both the ICC halls and meeting rooms and to Symphony Hall. Been here for plenty of concerts, first time for a conference. Breakout sessions in various halls meant lots of walking between them. Add on the walk back and for from New St Station and we can confirm we have hit our daily target, Great facilities and location, look forward to more.
