We found this restaurant having visited Larmor Plage beach in Brittany. Very friendly staff, carefully decorated room and a pleasant terrace. My son had pizza reine which was generously topped with proper jambon sec and had a lovely crunchy edged base.My husband and I had the special of the day, white fish, (merlu), steamed to perfection and served with a delicate turmeric flavoured sauce, pilaff rice and a courgette and mushroom combo. Delicious. I had café gourmand to follow with three little taster portions of puds plus a small black coffee. Hubby just had coffee and my son ordered a dame blanche ice cream dessert which was too big for him to finish so we had to help him out, sadly... A glass of smooth red wine, a kir breton and a cola completed the meal and the bill was a very reasonable 58â¬

I visited with my wife for lunch. It is a splendid location on the sandy beach. It is on the road but only about 3 cars passed in an hour. We had cold beer and Moules et Frits which were delicious. Service was prompt and friendly. We returned for an unhurried beer a couple of days later. It was quiet and delightful.

Les fumaisons de Groix c'est d'abord beau, tout en bois, façon un peu scandinave. Ensuite les "serveurs" sont très sympas. Les vins sont bons (en relation avec La cave du Cinquante), et les poissons fumés un délice, surtout les sardines qu'on n'a pas forcément l'habitude de déguster comme ça. Bien sur l'assiette est assez chère (20 euros) mais une fois de temps en temps... Un lieu qui change à Groix, peut-être plus "Belle Ile".

Le Vivier is a classy restaurant, with a down-to-earth yet impeccable service. The food is very fresh and tasty from appetisers to deserts (quite rich and buttery, so not recommended if you are on a diet...). The restaurant is located on the shore with beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean. Will definitely come back! Thank you very much for your contributionYves Guéguen

After arriving by ferry on this beautiful island, we moved in to our gite, then found our way to this restaurant. The menu was quite extensive as was the wine list. Typically oysters and mussels were well represented. Our family gathering selected a variety of both entree and main courses. Our genial host was most obliging. We can thoroughly recommend the oysters ( natural), mussels in white wine, herbs and cream sauce, rilliettes of tuna and of course, frittes. The dessert of creme brûlée was the best we have ever eaten, with taste and texture superb even surpassing that of Melboune iconic French restaurant, France Soir. There are many little eateries on this island, but O thon bleu is deserving of praise

Offering a fantastic view over the harbour at Port Tudy and attracted by the lunchtime menu, La formule du Midi at 15⬠for 2 courses and coffee, we decided to give it a try... especially as it was raining! We were therefore surprised to be told that we could have anything on the menu except La formule..... other than it's component parts, which resulted in 1 course, no coffee, for 1⬠less. In addition, the wine and beer that we ordered with it was the most expensive we've paid so far. Wouldn't recommend it and won't return, we were left with the feeling that they were taking advantage of the weather, knowing that most people would simply order something else.
