We had lunch at the Wharfside Patio between a driving excursion and sea kayaking. We had basic burgers and fries which were great, fast and affordable. Their ice cream selections were excellent too. They have a small patio to dine there or food to go.

The Harbour View Market is a small general store and a restaurant. The general store has very little to speak of.We went for breakfast because right now, most places in the town have stopped serving breakfast... not sure why??? It appears, Alma doesn't have enough, or can't get enough, cooks who want to be be available to make breakfast. Even the hotel we were staying stopped serving breakfast - no cook. Odd.In any event, we felt quite sorry for the waitress as she was overwhelmed with people and she was working alone. She couldn't keep up with serving and cleaning the tables and the poor thing looked tired. The girl behind the market counter kept coming into the restaurant area to clean tables etc. in order to assist the waitress but she seemed more concerned about making sure the take out orders were getting processed. Also Odd.It was busy (not many options for breakfast in Alma) so we waited about 15 minutes for a table. When one opened up, it was cluttered and dirty, but we sat down. After about another 15 minutes the dirty dishes were removed, but the table wasn't wiped off and it had pancake syrup spilled on it. After we finally got our order placed, we continued to wait. When an opportunity arose, we asked the other girl to wipe down our table so we wouldn't keep sticking to it. The waitress finally approached with food! Sadly, it wasn't ours, then she looked around and said "oh no, they jumped me". I guess whomever ordered that food had left because they waited too long. Finally we received our food (bacon and eggs), eat and left. The whole experience took about an hour and half - most of it waiting.Again, not the waitress fault but it really was a bad experience. While we were waiting, we saw several people leave. Also frustrating is that some folks who came in as others left frustrated without eating got a table and their order right done right away. What bothered me was that in 2 cases, they ended up with their food before us, Not sure how that worked. In any event, we will not go back.

We met a local at a German breadshop who told us about this place. Perfect! The minute we came in the owner gave us a taste of some smoked salmon he just made. To die for! And we got fresh halibut and some lobster meat. We took it back home and had a feast. Everything was very fresh and cleaned well. We like the vibe of the place and owner was so sweet. Prices are excellent

Tides restaurant has a beautiful view from its waterfront location on the bay of fundy. They have a fairly large varied menu. We had tides seafood platter and fried chicken. The tides seafood platter had fresh clams, local scallops, jumbo shrimp and deep fried haddock and was very good and worth the cost. Service was good. Good food, service and good view.

The Alma Boathouse was one of the few restaurants open early on the Tuesday morning we visited Alma, and it was a good experience overall. Be forewarned that everything is made to order, so service might a tad slower than expected (the servers warned us too). Seems like tour buses go through that restaurant as well, so keep that in mind. My wife had the fish cakes and for $10, they were well prepared and there was nothing to complain about (she particularly enjoyed the onion rings as toppers). I had the lobster roll and seafood chowder ($23 as of this writing). Seafood chowder is lighter broth which was well-received, and the lobster roll was tasty and not too heavy either. That said, I felt my meal was a touch on the pricey side. Overall, Iâd rate this experience to be a strong 4, in line with its TripAdvisor rating. Please indicate if you found this review to be helpful as it will help me focus my future efforts. Enjoy your trip!

We are open daily 11-8 pm. We invite you to enjoy fresh cooked lobsters on our enclosed patio, with salads, rolls, hot butter and beverage of your choosing while viewing Fundy's Giant tides. Also have fresh steamed mussels and hot butter, fresh lobster ro
Two of us got lobster rolls and while they tasted fresh one of us got sick. The best deal looked like the seafood feast with lobster, shrimp, muscles, clams and fish. Amounts would serve 8 to 10 people and cost was about $60. We did not find the lobster roll price exceptional. They matched prices in other restaurants. We are happy you visited us. Our lobster rolls are typically priced but no one else offers 1/4 pound of lobster meat. We feel 1/4 pound is a good amount of meat and still be offered at an affordable price. Our lobster meat is prepared fresh daily fir lobster rolls. We hope you will come back some day and try our hungry fisherman dinner.

Seafood restaurant with patio dining looking over the beautiful Alma harbour. Fully licensed and pet friendly. Gluten and vegetarian options available as well as children's menu.
We had an amazing dinner here. The atmosphere was great, our server very friendly, the service was very fast without ever feeling rushed. We had the grilled loaded corn - your really missing out if you donât try this! The seafood chowder was perfect, and the lobster roll was our favourite weâve ever had (flavour was great and not too much mayo). Honestly, I will tell all my friends and family travelling to Alma that they have to eat here!!
