The location is excellent, and you can have basic, tasty South Indian veg meals there. Tourists and especially Westerners are very rare in Theni, so we had four or five members of staff hovering around us throughout the meal. Cute, but not very relaxing. :) They sell a large variety of sweets and baked items in front. Simple but homely decor with nice wooden chairs.

I came here to have evening tea and snacks. We were group of 4 people. We had our tea and the final bill really surprised us. It was 257 Rupees. Below the price of items,
Veg Cutlet - 43 Rs
Tea - 15 Rs
Lemon Soda - 40 Rs
The cutlet was hot outside , but when we eat it was clear that they kept those cutlets in Fridge and just taken out.
I was very eager to know why this Lemon Soda costs 40Rs. When I soda costs 7Rs and a lemon takes only 5Rs maximum.
Overall VERY POOR EXPERIENCE.

We have been to the Bodi Iyer hotel with family in Cumbum and really enjoyed their lunch and Tiffin snacks as they were served fresh and extremely tasty. Their service was top-notch and really awesome, their ambiance was really nice and peaceful even though the hotel was crowded.
Lot's of menu options and price was very, very reasonable. 100% Vegetarian was really a driving factor for us to eat here and we so much to choose from. Lunch was really great and served with a grand variety of curries with the usual regulars. We were really felt at home at this place and we left the hotel with a feeling that we always want to come back for more.
Oh! Did I mention that they serve sweets and savories? Amazing Pure Ghee Sweets and Milk Delicacies with freshness spread all over it.
This hotel was actually mentioned in Vijay TV Neeya Naana when there was a debate on taste.
To sum it all - PURE TASTE GUARANTEED and The BEST PLACE TO EAT IN THE VICINITY.

great place, nice ambience and good food. The hotel is on route to Kodaikanal and has all the amenities like car parking, ladies and gents washroom seperately, kids play area, snacks shop...etc.
