This place is a miracle! You would never expect absolutely genuine Pakistani meals in a little town like Prachatice. But it is true. Food is brilliant and a great value - since very cheap. It is better than any indian food you can get in posh restaurants in Prague. They are real Pakistani cooks in the tiny kitchen and also the atmosphere of this 2-rooms restaurant is great. I never skip to visit when in Prachatice - in fact this food is one of the main reasons why I keep coming!

Pizzerie Marco is located in the historical part of the town of Prachatice, about 100 m from the square, and is a sought-after gastronomic venue for lovers of Italian cousine. An individually furnished interior complemented with paintings representing the history of the town of Prachatice completes our endeavor to create a pleasant atmosphere. There are 60 seats at your disposal in the pizzeria. If necessary, it is possible to use a lounge with the capacity of 25 seats.

This restaurant provides great food, variety and service. We really liked their spicy version of pesto and the pizzas, that were delicious. The service and atmosphere, as well as the interior decoration, were most welcoming. We came back again after two days and were not dissapointed.

My fix place at each single visit to Prachatice. Relax atmosphere, friendly service, very good coffee and, the most important, nice choice of typical Czech pastries, cakes and other desserts. Certainly a place where a tired traveller should make a stop. In the summer period, tables are available outside with a beautiful view on the central place with amazing architecture.

This is a small town pizza/Italian restaurant with big value and a quality selection. We've been several times now and our greatest problem is selecting from their more than sixty varieties of pizza, seventeen pasta dishes and numerous dinner salads. They have a wide selection of good beers in bottles and on tap as well as wines and non-alcoholic beverages. Take note below of our favorites. Most of the pizzas and pasta dishes range in the $5.00 US range and feature generous portions of toppings.
The restaurant capacity, if completely full, would be about 40 people and we've never seen more than one waitperson so they are kept busy but you don't ever feel neglected. We've always been well cared for.
The decor is right out of Chicago with numerous photos and paintings of Al Capone himself as well as huge cityscapes of large US cities (Chicago and New York). Clean and cozy where locals gather to meet with friends or stop by to pick up a Takeout order.
Final assessment, come for the generous and well prepared food and stay to chat and scan the pictures on the wall. Families, Friends and Couples all fit well in this fine Italian oasis.

We had visited Pivovar Prachatice previously when it was new and just getting on its feet. The project has now advanced considerably! They do very good food which perfectly supports the core business of industrial scale consumption of the best beer in the world. It was warm and welcoming. All three of us had a really pleasant evening which was what we had came to do!

This restaurant has now new owners proposing their own beer from the brewery next-door. The food was really good, at half price compared to Prague (clearly bellow 10€ / pers.). The choice of food is large with accent on typical regional specialities. The service is rapid, efficient, with nice smile. This is for sure an ideal place to eat and drink the local beer after a nice walk in the surrounding Forests.

Krásně a citlivě upravené prostory, vynikající domácí dorty a kremrole a velký výběr opravdu chutné kávy. Dále nabízí i zmrzlinu a domácí limonády. Parkovat se dá zadarmo u domu. Pro děti hračky a místo na hraní.
