We usually hit the Coffee Store in the Napili Shopping Centre most mornings but it was closed on the morning of the ballistic missile threat so we ventured a little further south to HVC.... a great find.
Their coffee is great, barristas with personality, and some of the best ingredients I've found in the area. Seeing Monin syrups behind the bar is an easy indication of attention to quality. I've mentioned to the Coffee Store on many occasions that they should either hide their terrible Torani syrups or hide them behind the bar but nothing changes. I do understand that Hawaii is famous for food colourings, Spam and other scary things but I'm sure there are many customers that would appreciate the good ingredients found at HVC.
We will return!

We loved going to the farmers market as it offered a variety of products which were not limited to only fruits and veggies. There were creative art works, replicas of historical maps of Maui, hand made Hawaiian articles, food (delicious tacos), wood carvings, etc. It was both interesting and somewhat entertaining. There is ample free parking and the entry fee to the market is minimal (I think it was 50 cents). The only downside is that there is very little shade.

Hard to give this place a five star rating simply because its like a brewery inside. Tables scattered around. Unassuming bar toward the back. The beer was fresh and very good. The friendly bartender recommended several of his favorites which were on point. I enjoyed a fish taco and the poke bowl which I thought were delicious. Id definitely go back, but its not really a place for the family in my opinion.

Thank you, Brie, for looking out for me and my love for the lemon bars here. We’re in Maui every December and every December we come here for our coffee and morning pastry. I then discovered the organic raw ball made with peanut butter that I started eating every morning before my morning run.
I have written a lot of reviews and have given very few 5 stars. The Coffee Store Napili deserves 5 stars. They make a lovely design on top of your latte.
My husband and I just reserved our two weeks in 2018 at our time share down the street from the coffee store. We will see them again late November 2018.
We will be sure to get the lemon bars.

When we are in Kaanapali, Island Vintage Coffee is one of our daily stops.
On our most recent visit in February, we went for coffee every evening except the night that it was pouring rain....
It is located on the lower level of the Whalers Village next to the Honolulu Cookie Factory.... very convenient.
I enjoy their fresh brewed Kona Coffee. We have also had the Green Tea Latte, the Kona Mocha and even a Taro latte drink. All have been very good.
Highly recommend this place.

Walked down from our stay at the Marriott 3 times to enjoy our shave ice. Be sure to add a scoop or two of the ice cream to really top it off! Girls were friendly and had no problem adding more syrup if you needed it. We found the middle size to be just right with some ice cream in it. Too many flavors to try. Nice picnic tables with holes in them to hold your shave ice while you enjoy it.
