We came for dinner to this family friendly restaurant at the entrance to Merlingo. We had a reservation otherwise it would have been impossible to get a seat due to many visitors, especially locals. That was also the reason we had to wait for quite some time until the pizzas came. They tasted delicious with very thin and crispy dough - fantastic!Is this a helpful review? Driving through Alto Adige, you come across this wonderful brewery and beergarden. The inside of the bar/restaurant is typically German, with waitstaff dressed in horsetrading and dirndls. The beer is good and the Bavarian-style German food, excellent. The surrounding mountains and nature are awsome, so be prepared for a great stop.

Seemingly hundreds of people sinking vast amounts of Forst beer from across the road to accompany the good plain Tirolean food. It's dusty, it's noisy and no place to wear your best clothes but great fun especially when there is live music
