My wife and I visited this restaurant when we could not seem to find a better place in a more famous part of Louisville. We were nearby this place and went back to it because it smelled good. I am glad we did this! I ordered some kind of carnitas (pork) tacos. They were superb and each was individually foil-wrapped. My wife ordered a mix of beef and chicken fajitas and the plate looked more like fajitas for two! All the food was great but it's hard to compete with a meal that arrives still sizzling! The service was personal and superb! The location and decor are nothing special but I simply did not care given the quality of the food and service. I think the value was also very good. A very nice visit and we took plenty of food home with us. This location is worth a try!

Normally I try not to mention names but this incident is one of the most disgusting I have ever encountered in fast food. I had an order replacement from a mess up a few weeks ago and went to get it today. Mike Jones made such a nasty jab at me that I called him out for it. I am not a confrontational person but this one I could just not let go.He said, "A mess up through the drive-thru when we put the order up on the screen huh?"It took me a minute to put it together and I responded with,"Is that a jab at me?""No sir, not at all," Extremely mocking and sarcastic.I quickly explained to him that I am a General Manager and if I have talked to my customers like that I would be unemployed. I was blown away at such a rude, nasty manager getting in such a nasty remark.I have contacted corporate and based on what they say/do I probably will not eat here again although they almost always do a great job. He needs quickly removed before Mike Jones causes this location to lose business.

New to Prospect, looked for quick place for lunch. So happy we chose Gustavoâs Mexican Grill. Our service was fantastic, very fast and friendly. We ordered the mixed quesadillas which had large shrimp, chicken and beef. Very good! It came with a guacamole salad. The chips and salsa were very good too! Highly recommend.

This family owned restaurant's location, a couple railroad cars, has been the location for different restaurants over the years, but this one looks like it should be here for good. Most Mexican restaurants of this type are pretty much standardized, meaning it doesn't much matter which one you eat at you really couldn't tell the difference, not in service, not in food, not in menu, well pretty much not in anything. Don't get me wrong you will know this is a Mexican restaurant, but you can tell it is family owned, you can tell the family knows what they're doing, and you can tell the family cares, and friends, that makes all the difference in the world. The menu is just enough different that you while you will recognize it, you will be able to tell the differences. We ordered Queso and it wasn't as runny and thin as most are, and, well, it had flavor. My wife, who is not a big Mexican food fan ordered a chicken, shrimp, and rice dish and said it was great. I ordered a tamale and soft taco and they were really, really good. I got a frozen Marguerita and it truly was one of the best I have ever tasted, just right. The service was friendly and attentive, and the owner wanted to make sure everything was to our liking and that we were happy. My wife's portion was Huge and I felt the prices were very reasonable, especially for what you got. This will be our regular Mexican stop now.

I have eaten here multiple times. I have tried several different menu items also. Everything I have eaten at this restaurant is excellent! I have no doubt that anything you order on their extensive menu will be great. The margaritas are excellent as well. I have eaten in the restaurant and also ordered carry out multiple times, and I have never been dissatisfied with anything, Everyone loves their food every time we order from here. You really should go in and try it for yourself. The service has always been friendly and fast.
