Water leak in room
Reviewed By 212amalienWe stayed for 2 nights at the hotel. Unfortunately there was a water leak from the jacuzzi in our room during our first night at the hotel. It got our stuff wet and we could not sleep for several hours due to the noice. No one was in the reception, and they did not answer our calls or messages. We got a new room the next day, but the manager would only refund us 30 soles for our first ruined night. There was also an issue with late breakfast (the cook was late for work and therefore we could not get breakfast before going on a tour). We booked our stay through booking.com, but after we left the hotel, they cancelled our booking - even though we had stayed at the hotel and paid for the 2 nights. We suspect they cancelled it, so we could not make a review of our stay.

Reviewed By B0B0chanExcellent location - just across from the PeruBus stop. The front of the property looks shabby but rooms on the second floor are simple, clean and quiet. We have a twin with private bathroom on the second floor, happy with it. Disliked · The water pressure of the shower is too weak!! The water is just tinkling down. We told the host about it but nothing changed so I guess it is the way. Wifi signal a bit unstable but largely ok.

Excellent place to stay
Reviewed By lu192We stayed here two times in the month of August 2019. The rooms are spotless and the finishings are updated. The bedding is new and the beds are comfortable. The room is cosy, but we didn't spend a lot of time in the room other than sleeping. There is a nice terrace area where you can sit in the sun ( or shade) and read a book or have a snack. WIFI works and there is a flatscreen tv. A block from the pier and about a 5 minute walk from the Peruhop meeting place. It's relatively quiet and no roosters! I'm rating it 5 stars due to cleanliness, value for $ and location. One downfall was one of the rooms we stayed in only had one plug in so we had to unplug the TV to charge our phones. No biggie really.

Simple and clean
Reviewed By keklapisA bit out of town but therefore quieter neighbourhood. Nice family, though no English. Wifi decent. Hot shower. No kitchen facilities. Very basic breakfast (2 bread rolls and butter). The sofa is comfortable to lounge on but there's only one! Also only one shared bathroom, so expect to queue. Same as the previous review... fine for crashing, but definitely not a party, cool, trendy hostel.

Reviewed By Jhamis Wthe front man of the hotel puts up a helpfull face on arrival as he has a keen interest on booking you on tours. however he is a liar and his friends are theives which left a bad taste in our mouth. which is a shame because all other people working there are awsome. in the end they stole 150 soles from us with their trickery. plently of better people around who could benefit from positive tourism. When we raised the issue we were kicked out of the hotel.

Not professionallt run
Reviewed By KangoanywhereFamily run hostel, not professional. We stayed for 1 night as it was the cheapest for a private room and bathroom. Check in was good, staff were friendly and showed us to our room. After check in you could hear the family arguing loudly as well as watching TV with high volume, where another guest has to ask them to turn it down. In the morning they played the radio extremely loud and early which isnt very professional. The bathroom was clean which was nice, our pillows had hairs on them which gives you the feeling there not cleaned.
