We had to wait a long time for cold pasta with no taste. Some of the dishes were sold out. Bad service. We are not coming back.

If you go to this place stick to Pizza. I have never written a bad review of a restaurant ever but the whole experience was terrible from the dismissive service to the quality of the food. Kids drinks never arrived and I had to ask for a glass of wine 3 times. I am gluten free and they would not make a simple substitution on the menu of the day - they were also quite rude. I therefore ordered the moules at full price, the first batch were cold as were the chips, just terrible quality. To the waiters credit he tried to make amends by bringing me a second batch (not chips) these were warm, no juice and not really much of an improvement. We left before the desserts - just wanted to get out of there. Busy and they obviously donât have to make an effort to stay that way. In my opinion you could eat better almost anywhere else ....

We have just returned from eating at this restaurant and the waitresses attitude left alot to be desired. Asked to order drinks but were given no drinks menu, and her approach to delivering a good service was unacceptable. I now wish I had checked your site and am not surprised to see its low rating. We both ordered pasta which was okay but not better than that and we decided to miss dessert & coffees rather than give this business more of our hard earned pensions. We asked if we could have some garlic bread but were told only if we ordered a salad starter when it came"on the side" - we declined. Walk on by, there are plenty of other restaurants to choose from.

The owner was less than inviting. Actually seemed like we were interrupting his visit with locals at one of the 4 tables. The pizza was dry and flavorless , borderline burnt. We had to interrupt him again to pay , and he was expecting a tip as he asked if we wanted our change . Sorry buddy !

We always visit Al Cantou while visiting Collioure. There are many different pizza selections and it is made to order. Pizzas are only â¬8.The staff is friendly and will happily suffer through broken French ordering - they will also speak English if you are stuck. :)Love to take this back to our apartment and enjoy with a wine from Collioure. Highly recommended.
