This is, by far, the best Indian restaurant ever. Family owned, the food is so tasty and perfect in any shape or form that words are not enough to give fair credit. In a lot of dishes they have a combo of fried coriander leaves and green chillies: simply superb. Only to be aware of: the food is made according to the real Indian tradition, so if you cannot handle spicy food, order Very Mild

We recently visited this suburban Indian restaurant for a family members birthday. The food was lovely and the service was friendly and prompt. My only suggestion was not to plan to dine too late as they normally close by about 8.30pm. Nice clean and well presented premises.

This place has great decor and nice atmosphere. The food is great and the chef is friendly. You can taste the authentic flavours of India. The only draw back is they are on the high side of pricing for sure. You should give it a try!

We called into Sofia, as they had avoid variety of both middle eastern and Indian cuisines.We selected Kofta skewers and Chicken skewers, which were both served on a bed of perfectly cooked and seasoned rice - together with a fresh side salad and accompanying sauces.We ordered chikennuggets and chips for the little one.All meals were well prepared and had excellent flavour. The meals were most substantial.Thank you for your review. We really appreciate it.

I visited on a Saturday night with a group of 8 friends. The menu was relatively simple not an overwhelming amount of options like so many restaurants these days. All the food was served in a timely manner. The starters were delicious, I had vegetable samosas. The mains were reasonably priced $15-20 and we had two big servings of rice for the table as well as some fantastic garlic naans. The rice was wonderful, spiced with cardamom and cloves. It was the best chicken korma I've ever had, It was beautifully spiced and not overly creamy. As a Pommie I pride myself on being a good judge of these things. The atmosphere would have been improved if there were more people there, but it meant that we got excellent service.

It is not the first time and certainly will not be the last as I could nor find any fault with the food and service. What also helped was the fact that corkage was not charged when I took my own wine.
