Reviewed By avogel811032This place was spectacular. Comfortable beds, large rooms, amazing breakfast, kind staff. This place really is a steal. It's close to the beach. Love the tropical feel of this magnificent villa. Love!

Reviewed By DarioC1674Booked for a one night stay at what looked like a lovely place on the internet but it was not to be. It turned out to be a South African version of 'Faulty Towers'. The room given to us had a faulty TV and the bedside lamps did not work, this was reported to reception, who turned out to be kitchen staff doubling up as the receptionist. The issue was attended to by a chef doubling up as house maintenance. Needless to say the problem was not sorted out and we were moved to another room. The room was lovely and I believe was the 'honeymoon suite'. We settled in and we thought that we were sorted, but alas, an hour later, we were told that the room was booked by the 'owner' for one of his friends and we were then moved a second time to another room! What a fiasco! More items were found not to work or broken in the third room but we left it at that and left the next morning, not brave enough to try breakfast, and putting the bad experience behind us. We will never return to the Relax Inn!

Reviewed By vrajas418605Lalaria is absolutely gorgeous. The set up and flow of the house is easy and you get an undisturbed view the ocean. Easy access to the beach and shops close by made our stay more enjoyable. The location is perfect and the space was perfect for 12, everyone loved the house and had a very enjoyable weekend.

Horrendous - Chaka’s Rock Chalets
Reviewed By sashag817My mother wheezed all night due to the duvet covered in dust. My pillow cases still had makeup on it, there were no sheets for the sleeper couch (which didn’t even open properly) and the tables had a thick layer of dust. Spoke to staff and they somehow blamed us and had an unhelpful attitude. Don’t come here if you care about good service and cleanliness.

Reviewed By LizlO2015Shaka's seat guesthouse is in the heart of Ballito making beach days, shopping days or just chilling days accessible and easy. The guesthouse is clean with a nice homey vibe. Debbie is a wonderful happy person who greeted us with a big smile ready to help and accomodate. She made is feel welcome and relaxed from the start. The rooms are perfect and all you need for when planning fun filled days needing a clean comfortable room to return to for a great night's sleep and wash-up. Shaka's seat is very reasonably priced with capable staff. If you are looking for affordable, clean accomodation, service with a smile and a personal touch to your holiday, I highly recommend Shaka's seat. A little gem we will be returning to. Thank you Debbie and team for giving us a stay to remember!

Mother and daughters escape
Reviewed By kfandi795902We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eden Palms penthouse. The plunge pool with sea view was a hit especially on lazy mornings. Security was on point. Kitchen a truly home away from home. Stone throw away from the beach.
