A self declared hip hotel which is just a low 3* property
Reviewed By AngmohofArabiaDespite being a long-standing Platinum Elite member, I had my first encounter with the relatively new Moxy brand. The hotel is conveniently located close to the Katowice Airport. I’ve read a lot about the hip and young image the chain is trying to sell. But I found the property to be just an average low 3* hotel, similar to Accors Ibis brand. Rooms are very small and functional. My request for a quit room on the top floor was ignored; despite prior emails. When I asked upon checkin to change, I was told no, your present as a Platinum member is already in your pre-assigned room. So, that was the end of the story. I think the relatively high rate for this property is not justified.

Hygiene standards in room simply unacceptable on this occasion
Reviewed By onedayabroadI've stayed at the DeSilva previously and was pleased with the standards on that occasion. This time, however, I was appalled by the soiled linens, as per the attached photo. Whilst the hotel has apologised (after numerous attempts to make contact) and regrets not meeting our expectations, I feel the focus here ought to be on hotel standards rather than "customer expectations" as any reasonable person would expect a clean bed at a hotel. Further, it's inexcusable to fail on that score at any time of time but our check-in was approximately 2am - we had precious few hours to catch a bit of sleep prior to a busy week and I felt the allocation of dirty/noisy rooms was sloppy customer service. Incidentally, a friend staying in a different room reported that the noise levels were terrible and that she could hear machinery throughout the night. Breakfast was fine and the young lady on reception in the morning was very polite and pleasant. Umfortunately I've now lost confidence in the hotel which is a shame as it is so convenient for the airport.

Perfect overnight stay
Reviewed By dannytamimayaThis is opposite Terminal A- go through the car park exit the car park at the barrier , cross the road be carful in the dark, and there it is on the left hand side . Clean room bit on the hot side but we opened the window did not hear the planes at all, clean bathroom. As much tea and coffee as u wanted Will use again next time I am in the area. Two singles bed but ok for one night Great price as well

Reviewed By 139jalrPokój czysty, przestronny. Czajnik, szklanki, talerze i sztućce dostępne w pokoju. Łazienka jeszcze bardziej przestronna z niezbędną zimą suszarką do włosów. Elastyczne godziny zameldowania. Można też skorzystać przy okazji z parkingu z transferem na lotnisko, choć przy dobrej pogodzie spokojnie można pójść pieszo.

Aircraft noise and no breakfast
Reviewed By MrsPiketLocated just south of the runway of KTW airport Noclegi Airport Park offers guest-rooms and long term parking. The guesthouse is family owned and operated. Noclegi Airport Park is a modest establishment, an OK place for a one night stay. At night you enjoy the sound of erratic starting and landing aircraft. We had a simple room at the first floor of the guesthouse. Our room had a separate private bathroom with washbasin, toilet and shower. Furnished and decorated in a modest no-nonsense style, our room had two reasonable single beds, two chairs and a table, an adequately outfitted kitchenette, wardrobe and a TV set high up on the wall. All was clean. Windows can be opened. Walls are thin, you enjoy the conversations of the neighbours. Surprisingly no breakfast can be had. Free parking at the property. Complimentary Wi-Fi Internet and free transfer to and from the airport. At 120 PLN for a modest room without breakfast Noclegi Airport Park is slightly overpriced for what it offers. Yet we recommend this accommodation to anyone who seeks a relatively noisy night's sleep close to KTW airport at a reasonable price.
