A Beautiful Luxury Desert Camp in the Sahara Desert at Erg Chegaga, Morocco. Sumptuous Tent Suites with private bathrooms and hot showers. Breakfast and Dinner is included and can be taken in our restaurant tent or outside under the stars. A private dinner in the dunes can also be set up by candlelight. The camp is placed around a camp fire which is lit at night and traditional Saharan drumming and singing takes place for a fantastic experience of this stunning desert region. Day time activities include camel trekking, hiking and sand boarding which are all included in the price. We are very experienced with families and children and cater for your every need while you are staying with us. We can arrange private 4x4 transport or helicopter transport from Marrakech and other cities in Morocco as part of a package to Nubia Luxury Camp.

Reviewed By cynthiadW1731EQWe chose Nubia camp for it's en suite bathroom facilities and it did have a regular size, flushing toilet, sink with running water, and shower which, although very weak, had warm water. The arrangements for pickup in M'hamid went according to plan and the food was good in the camp. We stayed for 2 nights and were glad we did because the camp is at least 1 1/2 hrs drive from M'hamid and to do it for one night would have been too much. We did enjoy the quad biking (1200 dh per hour for a 2 person bike), the short camel ride, and fossil hunting with our driver. Some areas for improvement (1) We were never introduced to the camp manager and so we didn't know who to ask for assistance. (2) They didn't make up our tent (we made our own bed) and other than arrival and meals, we were never asked if we'd like a beverage. (3) Good thing because there were about two beers and a few sodas for 8 people staying in the camp! (4) The camp didn't look like the photos for quite a while after our arrival because of 4 days of wind blown sand. We had to shake the sand off of chairs ourselves to sit comfortably and later, the staff shook out the rugs, etc. (5) Our special diet requirements were remembered for the first meal, but not for subsequent meals. (6) The visit to the nomad home involved looking at a couple of goats and then sitting in a tent (with furnishings carried from the camp), waiting for lunch to be served (which also came from the camp).

Our camp is 60 kilometers west from M'Hamid El Ghizlane. In erg chigaga, is the most important and savage of Morocco. Because of an hard access, you can go other there only by 4x4 (2 hours of trail), or by camel-ride (3 days) from M’hamid.

A New Year’s Eve to remember
Reviewed By PaolaC1011My husband and I spend 5 days traveling with driver Hassan through the Atlas Mountains all the way to Erg Chigaga. We spend two nights in hotels and two nights at the campsite. All well organized by Jana and her team, who were very accommodating to our schedule. The camp was simply incredible - hot shower and toilet inside the tent, electric blanket for the cold nights, great food, and super friendly staff who are also fantastic musicians (and make the nights extra special with their performances). This is a place you can come with families, couples, or by yourself - the team will make you feel immediately welcomed. I certainly hope to come back again. It was magical.
