Reviewed By arafetovichWe booked our stay during winter holidays when it was mostly busy; that was the first mistake! Checking in took extra time due to staff being short. We booked a room for 4 persons, on arrival only 2 towels were available in the room - requested 2 extra, nothing was provided… dining was included in the booking which was 2nd mistake; the restaurant area was very tiny compared to the hotel visitors, at 7pm the queue was to access the restaurant was very long… an hour later we were able to get in but the tables were not clean, again short on staff and waiters. Even an hour later, we were obliged to queue up to get your meal! Disaster! I decided to leave and get a snack from elsewere In summary, you should never try this hotel again - perhaps bed only would be ok.

The typical house furnishing is in the heart of the oasis. It is in a small village of Douz. the traditional and anciently decorated home consists of 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and kitchen plus two Bedouin tents are at your disposal and a large garden made with the end of desert sand. the house is next to my big family. There are 2.2 km from the city center, 200 meters from the sand dunes. L'ameublement typique de la maison est au cœur de l'oasis. C'est dans un petit village de Douz. la maison traditionnelle et joliment décorée se compose de 4 chambres, 3 salles de bains et cuisine plus deux tentes bédouines sont à votre disposition et un grand jardin aménagé au fond du sable du désert. la maison est à côté de ma grande famille. Il y a 2,2 km du centre-ville, à 200 mètres des dunes de sable. Die typische Hauseinrichtung befindet sich im Herzen der Oase. Es ist in einem kleinen Dorf von Douz. Das traditionell und altertümlich eingerichtete Haus besteht aus 4 Schlafzimmern, 3 Badezimmern und einer Küche sowie zwei Beduinenzelten und einem großen Garten aus Wüstensand. Das Haus ist neben meiner großen Familie. Das Stadtzentrum erreichen Sie nach 2,2 km und die Sanddünen nach 200 m.

Reviewed By KatharinLaFür eine Nacht nach einer mehrtägigen Wüstentour ist das Maison recht gut geeignet. Da es schwer zu finden ist, sollte man vorher anrufen. Es kommt dann ein "Abholservice". Die gesamte Anlage und speziell das Badezimmer sind ziemlich abgewohnt und ungepflegt. Vermutlich hat es auch damit zu tun, dass zu Corona-Zeiten nur äußerst selten Gäste auftauch(t)en. Das Wasser der Dusche brauchte in etwa eine Stunde um abzurinnen, die WC-Spülung musste erst in Gang gebracht werden. Der Duschvorhang baumelte an einer einzigen Halterung, also unbrauchbar. Das Zimmer konnte nur mit viel Kraftaufwand abgeschlossen werden. Ausreichend und von einer freundlichen Dame zubereitet und serviert wird das Frühstück.

Reviewed By home644Loved the warm welcome... even though we were only here overnight... ( wish it was longer) The staff were lovely.. the rooms nice.. The hotel sits on the edge of The Sahara... so is busy with all the visitors.. but they have it... so there's no long queues..

Reviewed By mercymE260FMSpending 2 relaxing nights at the Tente ElBey Hotel, on the fringe of the Sahara, was a highlight of my cultural adventure in Tunisia. The room was really nice, the mattress and bedding were extremely comfortable and of high quality, the bathroom and toilet were hygenic. The place is decorated and designed incredibly detailed and beautiful, with handcrafted furniture and genuine Bedouin tents and constructs. In summary, a cozy Bedouin themed luxury hotel, in the desert, without the modern materials. There was no plastic and no need for distracting electronics. It was refreshing and clean, and at night the lighting adds a notalgic atmosphere. The staff are nice and attentive, and the owner is very welcoming and helpful. I would definitely recommend the place, the restaurant, and also the sunset and sunrise drive and camel rides as the hotel and locals know the best times and spots.

Reviewed By 188isabelletNous avons été accueillis par Mohamed. Il nous a directement amené à notre chambre pour y déposer nos affaires. Nous l’avons rejoins pour prendre un thé dans le jardin. La chambre que nous avons eu est grande. La décoration est soignée. La chambre et la salle de bain sont très propre. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et bon. Mohamed a été d’excellents conseils pour notre séjour en Tunisie. Une très belle expérience.

CAMP ABDELMOULA est basé à 100 KM à Douz avec un trajet de 3 heures en 4x4, il est un hébergement typique et très adapté à vos besoin pour passer un séjour particulier et vivre la magie du désert Tunisien dans un région très calme à coté des montagnes à Timbaine et loin de la rue avec un douche d' eau chaude.
