September 4th, through September 15. Nino was there every step to pick us up. Always a few minutes early. Guided us in Trapani, Tonnara di Bonagia where he got reservations for birthday celebration at Sirena restaurant. All seafood feast. Grazie Nino. He even took us to the salt flats and to see the flamingos

This is a really interesting church located in the historic centre of Trapani. It was built in the late 17th century and houses a collection of life-sized statues or tableaus which are beautifully carved and which are depicting the passion and death of Christ. At Easter time they are carried in procession, then restored to the Church. The multi figure tableaus were made by the various tradespeople of the town. It is an absolutely fascinating display with great atmosphere and is well worth visiting - a great insight into local culture.
