A really nice little place, super friendly and inviting. Nice samba tunes rocking away in the background. Seems to attract a lot of local guides and gringos. Little bit off the beaten track but worth it. Little garden out the back is really chilled. Great vibes, worth the walk up the hill. Been here a few times, early evening and late. Both times really enjoyed it

We visited Lençóis during our holidays in Brazil and had a pleasure to dine in this cosy restaurant. We were blown away by the food experience and decided to comeback the next day! The meals served in here are home made from fresh ingredients and the dishes are full of flavour. Located in Lençois main street, El Jamiro offers great variety of meat and pastas. We have tried a mix of meats and it was excellent ! You also get a fresh juice or a caipirinha for free when eat there. Live music is a plus !Service is great and price is OK, considering Lençois average standard. It is worth to try !

To be fair, we didn't have a bad dinner anywhere in Lençois- but this was the one we came back to. The food and the service were just *that* bit better, and the food ranged from very good to great. The moqueca was particularly good (and after a thorough test of all their capirinhas, we can say that they were all excellent).Be aware that- at least in the (Brazilian) winter, many of the restaurants in town are not open every night (they seem to trade off).Hey Kate,we're really glad for such amazing comment. Great food and a good price. The waitress was really pleasant and friendly and happy. The medium beef was not really medium but the food tasted great and I refused the offer to have it replaced. We would have visited a second time but we didnât had enough time.
