We were looking for somewhere for dinner and visited the most popular restaurants in town on Tripadvisor. Their menus were all very uninspiring - the usual burgers, steak, pasta. Then we stumbled on Thoban Chefs tucked away in the corner of a small square - what luck!We like Asian food and this place has a great selection on its menu. We had a few starters and shared a Thai curry for main course - all were really outstanding - freshly cooked, spicy and tasty. As an added bonus, wine by the glass was only R30 for a generous quantity.Nice service from very enthusiastic and friendly staff made it a very special evening. When in Langebaan again weâll definitely be going back here.

Beautiful views and nice restaurant but food is not good. Most of the god is covered in sauces which is not great - too much almost like they trying to hide something.

After all the good reviews we expected so much more. We were greeted by bontebok and sorts of other animals at the entrance. It just made us more excited at the prospect of having lunch. From the pictures we were expecting much more from the chalets. They looked so forlorn. However, the entrance to the entrance is very welcoming and just perfect for the kids. A playground under this beautiful tree. A splash pool with a duck swimming around. The restaurant was packed but they found a spot for our little party. Service was great and they tried to cater to our every need. The problem was the food was average. When someone remarked it tasted like the Spur, they hit the mark. We drove this way looking for that extra but we could have just gone to the Spur.

What a superb place to eat. Understated from the outside, but wow, is this place a wonderful place to experience such good food. The vibe is really good, and the food is even more delicious. A nice variety to choose from and the people are super friendly.I would go there every time I visit Langebaan

Lovely spot. Really great setting and good service. The food we had was good as far as breakfast goâs. Everything was fresh and the kids enjoyed it(always a good thing)Biggest let down. The Coffee is not good. Not sure if itâs the Barista or the bean blend but no one enjoyed theirs. Will we come back? Maybe for super!
