My husband and myself stopped for a drink and something to eat . I had steak my husband had a burger. Sevice food and drink were all excellent. I would definitely recommend a visit

I stopped here on a Friday night. I was looking for authentic Spanish food in Arenal and I found it here. The service wasn't the best... a bit slow and a bit disinterested but it was a busy Friday night and I'll give them some wiggle room. The food more than made up for it!

We stayed at the hotel opposite so decided to give this restaurant a try. This is in a largely German tourist area. The German staff spoke English and were warm friendly and welcoming to four middle aged British women! The food was tasty and reasonably priced. Thereâs lots of choice on the menu too. The restaurant is big with some outside seating. I would recommend.

Visited here as itâs just down from our hotel and the menu had plenty of choice. Considering how late we visited staff were still very accommodating. We both ordered the mixed grill at roughly â¬18, which was good, specially for the portion size. The meat was cooked lovely; not chewy or tough, just a shame all three meats were marinated in the same sauce, just made it a little, âmeh.â We did order peppercorn sauce. However what we received definitely did not taste like the peppercorn sauce us Brits are used to. Iâm not sure if was we received was wrong or just their version of it, but it was very overpowering and tasted bazaar. Drinks were reasonably priced too, and we enjoyed a few while avoiding the thunderstorm.

Having read the other great reviews we sought out sunshine steak and sushi, and we are so please we did! We had a glorious dinner of sushi to start followed by the fillet steak which literally melted in our mouths. Definitely try the dates wrapped in bacon too they were delicious! The staff were super friendly too and all in all was a lovely evening of our holiday.

There are plenty of similar places to this one across the island.Meat-based grills, honest traditional food with old-school attentive service at usually competitive prices.Somewhat off the beaten track, you would not venture this far unless you knew the place. You know what you sign up for, so unlikely to go wrong in places like these!
