Absolutely excellent food and big portions. staff were very friendly. Weâve been living on tapas and needed substantial food. This fit the bill. Arrived earlier than normal dinner hour but were accommodated for early dinner. Degustacion Menu #2 provided many local samples and all meat was juicy & cooked over the coals. Homemade dessert with cafe con leche was a nice ending. MuchÃsimas gracias dododidi.

This simple and unpretentious restaurant, housed in the old goods store, next to the tiny station, offers a wide variety of local meat cooked in their huge asador (wood burning oven). It is only open at the weekend, and appears to be very popular amongst the local residents. Their portions are large- we shared a platter of mixed Iberian meats between two of us as a starter, which was ample. Suckling pig was tender and delicate in flavour, as was the leg of lamb- both succulent. The bland, possiby tinned, vegetable macedoine and chips appear to be the standard accompaniment, but the meat was the main delight. The house wine was drinkable. This turned out to be an inexpensive meal in a delightful setting. Warm welcome by the staff.
