Historic Garden, Park Lands & Homestead. The property contains over 100 species of significant plants and trees; a mud brick homestead and historical remnants of the past. The trees date back to the 1870's with many being over 60 metres in height. Some amazing flora & fauna exists on the 10 acres of land including exotic birdlife and native Australian animals including echidnas, wombats & wallabies. Undulating across 7.5 acres of sweeping lawns, lakes and trees, with vibrant seasonal colours. Chooks, geese and ducks roam free around these magnificent grounds, which are suitable for young and old alike. Bring a picnic and meet with friends, or enjoy the peaceful ambience under a tree with a good book. While wandering the gardens you can watch the birds frolic around two lakes; one arched by a Monet style bridge, and the other ladened with water lilies. Wander through the stunning perennial walk, sit down under the romantic rose arbour, discover a variety of beautiful flowers or explore ‘Treasure Island’, where a cubby house, slide and sand pit sit among a fern glade.
