Got to say it. Staff rude, abrupt and need retraining on the day i visited. Was informed that it was a fast food store so it was normal to speak to customers like fools. Mind you "Bob Marley", lol looked more like an old man but it would never pass off as being Marley.The care which the staff placed food together has a lot to be admired. Retraining would not go a miss in this department. Will never venture back here until the staff are retrained in all departments from using the till to managerial etiquette.

Never had a bad order from here and the staff are always really nice! The prices are much lower than similar places around Aberdare but the food is much better!

Love the food from here. Always had a good takeaway and food is always tasty! So much choice on the menu too.

Run by younger staff these days offering traditional Fish and Chips plus a wide range of Chinese meals for all the family, I personally enjoy their Chinese offerings but do find their curry very hot.

Had visitors last night so decided on a chinese takeaway meal, phoned the Golden Star and place our large order, 10 mins or so later it was ready for collection and, it was absolutely superb, the pancake rolls and chicken balls were gorgeous, as was the curry and the noodles, well worth a visit. It fed 6 hungry adults and..there is enough left for lunch for me tomorrow lol.

I have frequented Pagoda for many years. I think today may have been the last. Had a delivery from here two weeks ago, it was not up to usual standard but thought it may be a one-off. Had a delivery again today, it was awful! All portions seemed smaller than usual, the containers still had plenty of room in them. It was all freezing, just like last time. It all had to be warmed in microwave. The chicken was poor, the chicken Chinese style didn't even look anything like the usual one (which was always my favourite) It was all bland! Chips were only half full in the bag, and where extremely soggy. Curry sauce was only three quarters full and you could stand a spoon in it, it was so thick. I could go on and on. Most of it went in the bin... Yuk!

More than a sandwich shop also have paninis, pasta and salad boxes all freshly prepared, quality ingredients, beautifully presented. Lots of choice including vegetarian and vegan options and big portions at reasonable prices. We had the Hawaiian panini,vegan baguette and vegan cheese salad sandwich on lush bloomer bread. Apart from the food was also impressed by the environmental friendly packaging and friendly staff Highly recommend!
