Went here with my partner and her mum to show her my favourite Wellington coffee. Had no idea their range was as big as it is. Great service and staff all know their products. Had an awesome afternoon.

The food. The service. The vibe. The price. You can’t get any better than Te Mata Figgs cafe. For the price you pay, the portion size you get is just what you need on a Saturday morning to fuel for a big day in the bay. The smashed avo with Salmon on the side is a must. Honestly, the best salmon i’ve ever had at a cafe before. It isn’t the usual sliced salmon, but actual big salmon pieces that are freshly smoked and so yummy ????- I would highly recommend that anyone adds salmon on the side when visiting. Can’t forget their coffee is great and special figg almond ice cream is a lovely treat to top off the visit ????????I will definately be making this spot the regular weekend brunch spot from now on ????

We recently visited Devonport for our second visit to this town. After browsing the main street looking for local artist (did not locate any on this visit), found this little gem. The coffee was up to the standard that you would expect in NZ, smooth, creamy, consistent and of a high standard. The café has internal seating, warm and welcoming, great for buying local beans and coffee accessories. Highly recommended for a great coffee.
