Obviously an unusual, characterful venue, although if you're expecting any views out of the plane's windows, you don't get any, in spite of the relatively elevated spot, since the windows have been left at a rather low height after the conversion and they are not particularly clean. I ordered the Budweiser goulash, basically beef in (not paprika-based) sauce, with dumplings and some rice. The meat was meltingly tender and the sauce wisely balanced. The staff appeared professional and kind. I could have happily eaten double the amount of it, but one of my companions couldn't handle all of hers, so the portions appear about right for the average human. It is just that in this part of Europe the population seem to be totally carnivorous and quite content eating just meat and carbohydrate. Even if you are, like I was, purposefully trying to order something with vegetables in it, the fact needs to be faced that in Czech culture vegetables are considered a garnish at most. This may have to be accepted, but if you are used to a used to a more plant-based diet (e.g. you are vegetarian or Chinese) and you eat here, you are bound to feel deeply dissatisfied. The price of around â¬7 including bottled beer is amazing, but I would rather pay more and get a meal with can claim to be healthy as well as tasty.

Byl jsem v restauraci poprvé a to na obÄdÄ , ale dojem byl pÅÃjemný. ProstÅedà hezké a v tÄchto vedrech je ve sklepenà dobre. Obsluha rychlá a milá. PolÃvka chutná v optimálnà velikosti, majà tÅi na výbÄr . Z jÃdla se dalo též vybrat a bylo moc dobÅe. PÅÃtelkynÄ mÄla smažené kuÅecà stehno s domácà tatarkou a též dobre (Možná by to chtÄlo vÃc koÅenà do strouhanky). Můj veprovy steak byl výborný a stavnaty, zelenina super a dresing nemÄl chybu. ChtÄl bych recept Ps: na tripadvisoru máte Å¡patnou adresu.

It's probably one of the most popular restaurants in Usti, both among the locals and visitors. It offers mainly traditional Czech cuisine (greasy meat, heavy sauces, dumplings etc.), but you can also find some lighter (fish, grilled vegetables) and meat-free (traditional fried cheese) options. The place is fairly cheap (especially if you come from the West) and it has got a zone for non-smokers and a garden in spring and summer. As for minuses - some of the stuff are slow and grumpy - most of the regulars, including myself, have some bad memories connected with the waiters. But it's still one of the most recommendable restaurants in Usti nad Labem.

A classical (?) czech "bierstube" with a variety of czech and international food on the menu. Excellent beer prices, best I have seen in Europe. But this is not a place for cheap meals, it is for the ambiance and the good food. English menus are available but staff speaks very little English.Our group had a great evening and I look forward being back soon.

Met some family members for early dinner there while visiting Usti nad Labem. The view is absolutely amazing, the service great. I had delicious sauteed vegetables with chunks of fresh goat cheese, family had roast duck entree, another one had the award winning Svickova dish, husband commented on its very good, rich taste. I would definitely recommend this beautiful restaurant for special occasions.
