We had many a very cold beer here (small 2.00 LV, large 2.50 LV) during our stay in Balchik. Good to sit and watch the people walking down to the Botanical Gardens. Very friendly and efficient staff. Restaurant sometimes full with tour parties.Only ate here a couple of times, but food was excellent. We had some delicious squid rings in garlic and butter (LV 12) and even more delicious rapane (Black Sea whelks) in butter and pepper (7.50 LV). Their spaghetti was also very good - I had carbonara - good portion for 7 LV. Local wine the usual price - LV 9.00 for 1/2 a litre.Would definitely recommend.

Food is great! We tried pizza, grills, sach, deserts...Everything was very well cooked. And served rather fast too (even though it was at least half full we did not wait more then 25 minutes for the food). The portions are really big and the prices are good. The waitors are in a good mood all the time and very efficient. And you can pay with a credit card, which is not that common in Bulgaria. We do recommend it!

A steak house for me is a place that dedicates itself to making good meats. Looking at the menu, this place dedicates itself to make as many different types of food as possible. Pasta, pizza, fish, some bulgarian dishes, chicken and curry etc..etc...but failing at everything!We tried the meat and it was absolutely tasteless. The pepper sauce was a thin transparent goo. Fries were decent and beers for EUR 2 was nice.Waiter was nice at least. Pricing was on th high end comparing to other places in Bulgaria. They are making pizzas in a nice stone oven outside. Looks nice and smell nice. But ingredients are standing outside all evening in the open and is not refrigerated. I guess bacterias die in the oven, but in my country places like this would be shut down immediately by authorities for that way of handling the food. Calling this a steak house is an insult! But again, they are trying to lure the tourists in. It is beyond my belief how anyone can rate this with 4-5 stars. Says a lot about the people that go to Golden Sands. So unless you are that kind of person, then please don't go to Golden Sands.

We tried out the restaurant tonight and werenât disappointed, 3 of us and 3 entirely different main courses, veal and two types of kebab, and deserts.All very good, it could be commented that service a bit slow, but didnât bother us as we were in no rush. Fruit pancake excellent.Drinks and two courses 114 lev, canât find that many places.

We found this great restaurant to eat and we kept coming back our entire time in Balchik. Great service and excellent food, tasty and generous portions, for good money value. We tried the salads, the meats, soups, grills and even desserts. Everyting was excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Unbelievable....everything about the place food service venue... this is the 3rd year we have visited and once again not disappointed in the slightest. The service is amazing very good English.... the food does take a while but my God it is worth the wait !!!!! Would recommend this place to anyone

Lovely garden restaurant and plenty of decent food and drink. Service is OK and plenty of English speakers. Also some decent singing and entertainment. Would go again. Possibly ring in the afternoon to book a table for later.
