Beautiful studio with so much to offer. Lots of educational classes and fun events. I have not yet experienced them all! I have been going to House of Wellness for almost 2 years. Have enjoyed all the classes and instructors. Besides feeling amazing and enjoying myself with new experiences, it carries over to my daily life. Positive attitude, caring and compassion are all felt at House of Wellness. There is a lot of information shared among the instructors and fellow yoga folks. Just stop rushing around and take care of yourself! You can walk in all wound up and leave so happy that you came. Namaste! PS Kara the owner and wonderful instructor sees to your comfort and gives you her personal attention. Beautiful inside and out~

This is one of my favorite beaches on Long Island. Has life guards, a concert series and a small concession stand as well as bathrooms during the summer season. Requires a permit or a day pass. Check out the Town Of Southampton website for details.

The Southampton History Museum was organized in 1898 and incorporated in 1910. In its early days, the Museum collected and exhibited historical objects and documents relating to the history and development of Southampton, organized pageants and gave lectures on antiques. By 1960 the Rogers Mansion property had expanded to include 12 historic structures including an 1830 one-room schoolhouse, an 1825 barn and a 19th century paint store, among others. The Mansion is the main administrative center for the organization and is open year-round. Today the Museum's mission is to preserve and promote the history and culture of the Town of Southampton by engaging and inspiring diverse audiences. It does this through the management of 4 separate properties with 14 historic buildings that contain changing exhibits on historic topics, a research center and educational programs for schoolchildren and adults.

For us this exhibit was a peek at the rich history of the East End of Long Island through the use of photographs from the historic archives of the The Morris Studio. I used to go to the Morris Studio for passport photos and film product since I was in college. It's unfortunate closure now reveals lost photographs of historic landmarks and portraits of local families all documenting more than 100 years of local history. We were told that this exhibition will be the first time many of these images will have ever been seen in this kind of setting.

An absolute gem. The collection, showcasing contemporary works as well as older pieces from the region, is the perfect size and thoughtfully balanced. The galleries are spacious, airy and well-lit, and the sculpture grounds on the outside are full of stunning pieces, beautifully landscaped. There's a little cafe (nothing special, but decent prepared sandwiches, coffee etc.) and a nice gift shop. We visited during COVID summer and they were very thoughtful about timed reservations, with just enough people moving in and out for good distancing, and sanitizers everywhere. The staff were very kind and knowledgeable. This is a lovely day trip from NYC (about 2 hours drive with regular traffic, more on Hamptons-heavy weekends) and right next to a winery, a farm and some nice sightseeing drives. Highly recommend!

Meschutt Beach is the perfect beach experience for all ages, especially for families who want to have a worry-free day. Since the beach is actually on Peconic Bay (a gloriously large and clean body of salt water inland from the open Atlantic Ocean) there are no crashing waves or tides to speak of, making it a very safe swimming experience for young children. This is not a venue for surfers or for adventurous swimmers, but on the plus side there is a full outdoor bar for adults, a full service snackbar and a gift shop that sells all manner of beach gear (chairs, lotions, hats, etc.).
