Clemens Gardens

Picturesque garden with red-brick walkways gives visitors a feast for the senses.

Reviewed By jerb2014 - Bristol, United States

This garden is beautiful beyond words. Far different from Munsinger Gardens, Clemens Garden is very formally laid out on a grid pattern. There are brick walkways that lead you through a series of six gardens: A rose border, the rest area garden, a formal garden, a white garden, a perennial garden and the last a treillage garden. The "bones" of the gardens are beautiful and five of the gardens have fountains. The most spectacular fountain (and that is an appropriate description), is the Renaissance fountain with Hebe and cranes. Stunning. When we were there one of the fountains was being repaired due to vandalism. Inconceivable how anyone would stoop to doing something like that, but the garden does not have a fence around it. The plantings were spectacular, still in progress, but a team of staff members were working to finish weeding and planting. Just a breath taking garden in the tradition of the finest formal gardens found in England. We will fondly remember our visit. Free admission, but donations welcomed.

Munsinger Gardens

Located along the scenic Mississippi River, these gardens are known for their shade-loving plants including numerous hostas and ferns.

This is a beautiful area to visit just to walk through and enjoy the many different plants and wonderful walkways along side of the Mississippi River. The fall colors are so beautiful all around the fountains and gorgeous scenic views. I love coming here to just walk and visit with friends and go to the little gift shop. I recommend it for anyone who has time to soak in this totally awesome place.

Beaver Island Brewing Company

We believe that the best beers are the ones that everyone can relate to. Solid. Well-crafted. With a thoughtful twist. You won't have to guess what is in your glass, but you'll sure as hell want to figure it out. And then share one with a friend. Cheers.

My wife and I stopped here on a trip through St. Cloud and were amazed at every facet of this establishment. My wife doesnt even enjoy beer, but she definitely loved the vanilla & coffee stout! She loved it so much we had to get a 12 pk at a local liquor store the next day. I enjoyed their Oktoberfest and a few others, seeing as though on Mondays their pints are buy 1 at normal price, get 1 for one cent! Clinton was very hospitable and told us of a couple great local places to go while we were in town. We left happy and with a pint glass to remember our good time!
