Amazing feat of Roman engineering built in the 1st century AD, spanning the river Gard to carry water over 50km between Uzès and Nîmes Truly spectacular UNESCO world heritage site and well worth a visit. There is kayaking near by and a couple of restaurants and Souvenir shops. Suitable for all ages.
