Our car broke down, she went out of her way to assist re-booking our SALT tour, jump starting our car, calling for a service man, and then allowing us to stay in the room while waiting. Rooms are clean and quaint. The town residents go out of their way to accommodate guest from the limited restaurants, the service station, the planetarium. Sutherland is certainly a town to visit. Use Sterland for the star gazing. And stay at Kambro Kind. Superb!!

The portion was huge.. but what blew me away was the taste... omw the chicken burger... i would return all the way there again just to taste it again! You can see that the owners take great pride in the food! I still dream of that burger! Make sure that you book/make a reservation before you go!

We took a 96 year old house and dressed it up in antiques to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for our guests. We then added a coffee shop style restaurant to it where you can enjoy scrumptious food and the best coffee in Sutherland
Nice Guesthouse but Sutherland is lost in time

Shared bathroom not a problem since only 1 other guest was staying. However.. with very few local restaurants and bars Sutherland is lost in time.. a long drive for nit so much.

Reviewed By efrost69middelfontein farm located just outside Sutherland is hosted by Juanita and family. Highly recommend this for couples or families. Indoor and outdoor fireplace, walking trails, fully kitted out for self catering. They run a quiet well equipped farmhouse with all the modern amenities you need. We had an amazing stay. And we will be back

Equipped very well for the cold with electric blankets, heaters, lots of extra blankets and an awesome indoor fire place. Owners went the extra mile by putting smarties on the beds for the kids as well as having colouring books and plastic cups and plates for them. Would definitely recommend Alien-Inn.

Sutherland - a place of stars and snow. At Sutherland Guest House you will get peace and quietness. This real Karoo house has 3 bedrooms and one self-catering unit. There is also a braai place and undercover, off street parking. Home away from home is what people say who stay here. Whether you are on a business trip, a holiday or a night stay over we will welcome you! We do have a fireplace in our lounge and electric blankets on all beds. You can book the entire house for a group of 10.

Reviewed By Jacov432From the moment you arrive till the moment you leave, the experience is great. The service is one of the best I have ever had. The unit was clean and everything was there and worked perfect. It is worth every cent.
