Reviewed By Molls576The manager greeted us with fresh-baked banana bread! Nice balcony, great breakfast, delicious coffee, loved the screens and security door that you could leave open for a breeze - and you could hear the river! It was like Nature’s white noise machine.

Reviewed By GaddemonBeautiful garden with lots of mango trees and other exotic plants. Very attentive, kind and helpful staff. Very clean and cozy room with gorgeous view from the patio! Small kitchen area w/ microwave, fridge, etc. Good, freshly made breakfast.

It is tucked away in a very natural and beautifully landscaped corner of Sta Gertrudis, but yet has convenient access to shops, restaurants, and the lovely nearby town of Grecia. I loved seeing the many fascinating birds that frequented the grounds, such as hummingbirds, parrots, Chachalacas and Blue Crowned MotMots. The sweeping views of the surrounding mountains are breathtaking! This is a very tranquil and soothing environment to stay for a night or for several months! I stayed for three months in the ‘Casita’, and I enjoyed my stay very much. Ronald and Iliana were so helpful and friendly, and were always available to answer questions or help with any needs that came up. They are superb hosts! They welcome their guests like family! The entire establishment is super-clean and nicely stocked with all the necessities. The B&B rooms are luxurious, with huge baths and large, comfortable beds. There is a wonderful common area where breakfast is served, and this is such a comfortable and tranquil way to start the day. I can’t say enough good things about B&B Garden Grecia! This was my second visit, and I’m sure not the last!!

Worst Hotel I have ever stayed in
Reviewed By ianpike126Booked in to Hotel Aeromundo for a 5 day business trip with a college. To our surprise when we collected our room keys and opened the door what a complete shock. The rooms were like a prison camp, the air con was faulty and leaked in Room 11 there was also a massive amount of mould on the ceiling which was wonderful 'Not'. If you want to be woken up every night by the buzzing sound of mosquitos or fruit falling from the tree in the centre of the hotel onto the room roofs then this is the place for you. The hotel bell goes all evening and night, outside is like a race track in the evenings. I went to breakfast once and it was totally disgusting, the employee who cooks it is so miserable and the food is awful. Avoid this hotel

Reviewed By nike2590For the purpose of this review, I am refering to the white manager of the hostel who is from Europe. I believe her name is Anuk or Anouk as I do not know the spelling. We spent a few nights at the hostel and we caught the manager lady from Europe,I think her name is Annouk in our room on 2 occasions. For some reason, the manager Anouk was in our room when we returned. When we asked her what she was doing in our room she started to speak in some other language and seemed extremely disoriented. She then left our room while still speaking in a different language. At first when she spoke Spanish to us - she told us that she thought that we had checked out - but since it was still way before 12 and since our luggage and cloths were set around the room- it was very onvious that we were still in the room and had not yet checked out. She was very strange and turned the conversation around to ask us why we had not checked out. Check-out time is 12 noon and it was about 10:30 am so there was no reason to be in our room long before check out time! We wonder if she put her hands on our cloths or put her hands in our luggage? Why else would she be in our room? We didn't notice anything missing but we did notice that our luggage was open upon finding her in our room and we know for certain that we closed our luggage before we left the room. She must have heard us talking as we approached our room door and quickly stopped looking through our luggage and neglected to close our luggage as we entered the room. Thank you.

The lush property is located about 45 minutes from the Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO). Price includes a full breakfast, wifi, daily cleaning and utilities. Come enjoy the beautiful surroundings, walks in the area or just relax with our own organic coffee. There is easy access to public transportation in front of our property and we can arrange for transportation to and from the airport.

Reviewed By Kelly MThis was not our first time to finca vibran, and it won't be our last. First, it doesn't get more beautiful than here. It's amazing. Then, the hospitality is unmatched. Adrian was an immediate friend.(ask about bbq) Our flight was delayed by several hours and he waited until 2am to greet us. And he was happy! Or acted the part. He cooks an amazing breakfast, too. I was sad to not see Liliana and Luis (the owners) but they have left the property in great hands, once again. (Karina was also amazing)! There are short trails to hike and thousands of hummingbirds and butterflies. The views are amazing. The caretakers of the property, Jorge and Wendy are lovely. Jorge gave us many different fruits from the property and was so great with our 5 year old son. If you are wanting to not be in the middle of crazy tourism, and want something more authentic with a big dash of comfort, this is your spot.

The best choice while staying in the central region,beautiful small hotel managed by owners will make sure your stay is a wonderful experience. cozy well decorated spacious rooms, bar and restaurante, green areas, creek and waterfall in the property only 20 minutes from the airport lots of trees and birdwtching secluded yet very close to the city. come and enjoy!

Reviewed By sandil409Close to the city and a great spot to start or end your trip to CR. At only 20-25 minutes, there is easy access to the airport. Breakfast is available for a fair price and was very tasty. This boutique style inn is small and comfortable. The grounds are very well kept and a pleasure to stroll around. The adjacent river includes a small waterfall and shallow pools to relax by or in. If you prefer, you can alternately cool off in the swimming pool by reception. On a personal note, we had some scheduling issues with our return and they stepped up to help us though it. It meant a great deal to us and are very grateful for their help and hospitality. Outstanding.
