Thundi guest house is a brand new low budget guest house located in the beautiful island of Fulidhoo, 57 km from capital Male City. Thundi offers uninterrupted views of the breath taking scenery of the white sandy beaches and crystal clear lagoons of the pure Maldivian islands.

Reviewed By ChuckOfAllTradesMy wife and I stayed at Thundi as part of a dive package with the excellent Fulidhoo Dive. It was a wonderful stay. The location is excellent, the price is competitive, the food is OUTSTANDING (which is made even better by their generous portion sizes). The beach - while not as clean or inviting as the main Fulidhoo one, is lovely enough to just gaze at while sitting and reading on one of the many lounge chairs they have. The rooms are cleaned daily, and the premises is very quiet and inviting. For cat lovers, there are several cats running all around the place (one of the more, er, "memorable" parts of my trip was us trying to extricate a hook that a poor kitten had got itself inveigled in). They range from the aloof to the super friendly who will demand rubs! Shifaz, who runs the place does a great job. He was super helpful even before we took off from Mumbai, sharing lots of info via Whatsapp, organizing trips and giving tips. Lastly - did I mention the food? Doesn't matter, I'll say it again. It was excellent. From Maldivian breakfasts to spicy Indian cuisine to an insanely good sashimi platter, Chef Mohit and his kitchen team whip up one heck of a meal. If you're staying here, you should definitely do the half-board at least. Between stunning dives and those meals, our week in Fulidhoo was a memorable one. Thank you, everyone at Thundi (including the cats!).

Will 100% recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Fulidhoo, Maldives. Faisal, Shinan and Sarey were wonderful hosts ? The hotel also organises the best of excursions.

Reviewed By Soloista-SoulEasy , simple, close to lagoon and bikini beach. The place has only 3 rooms, so its indeed very peaceful. Love the fact that its right in front of the lagoon…where you can look for black tip reef sharks or just jump in for snorkelling. I found lobster, octopus, sharks, Morley eel, and of cause many reef fishes. Bikini beach is 3min walking distance. Room is simple, have enough space. Moosa (the owner) is super helpful, he would help to organize an excursion using his own boat. I did 2 snorkelling trip, both are really nice except for the strong current !

Clean rooom, beautiful cotton towels for beach, abundance of water and the best bart - the best COOK from Sri Lanka who cooked for us. We ate amazing, tasteful fishes for the best price, like 30$ for three persons, huge fresh fish with all salad and rice, pastas,fruit... I mean it is 3 person, amazing! Beach is clean, water is maldivian crystal clear, salty, white sand... Same like in expensive resorts, but for affordable price! These guys here are locals and they can arrange to you everything to experience real Maldives, they know how to make you safe on daily excursions, cause I was a little bit afraid of swimming with sharks ?, they had so much patience that in the and I was swimming like I am swimming with sharks every day. Than I have to say the owner is the best, professional like European style. Near the room we have ocean, we drunk coffee and listened to the ocean! Wow, amazing! We slept well, there is no noise. In my opinion, I was scared that I couldn't afford Maldives, but NOW, I just think how to come back to La Perla Guest House Fulidhoo! ❤️ And I will take more people with me, for sure! ?

To my surprise it turned out to be the best holiday experience . Mohammed and his brothers took care of me like a family and made my stay so very comfortable . There’s a beach just ten steps away , you can sit there for hours and pass your days . Fulidhoo is a divers paradise so you will have sharks and stingrays all around the island . The food is a plus ..I tried almost everything on their menu .. it’s lip smacking ! I’m going to miss this place ?
