Amazingly relaxing restaurant, Japanese chiefâs delicious meals, pleasant stylish modern oriental ambient, helpful and friendly stuff. Highly recommended, if you want to relax, enjoy great Japanese food, good wine and tasty sweets. Tuna tartar is a real star of entrees, sushi are also very tasty. There are interesting main dishes as well. The desserts are original and tasty as well. The ambient and service are very pleasant. Prices are affordable, especially for such a great food. Fresh fish dishes are stunning. Highly recommend to visit!

I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent and authentic food at this restaurant. The service was friendly and the price was low. I also liked the use of washable plates and cutlery - nowadays most fast food restaurants use enormous amounts of plastic and non-recyclable paper. The restaurant is extremely small and it may be difficult to find an inside table in colder months.

During lunchtime, the place gets a little bit crowded because of its location, but this place offers a very good variety of typical Asian food as well as nibbles and steaks too. Definitely worth a visit and the staff is professional too. My favorites are yellow curry and spring rolls here but you can't miss with typical meals either.

Place is quite small, but staff is nice and professional. Food is quite good, but prices are, compare to the same food in Vienna at least 40% higher. Sushi is good, sup could be better, I try Bento box.

The Shambala is situated a little hidden in a quiet district of Ljubljana. I went to see the Sushimama for dinner without a reservation. Since the terrace was fully booked, I was offered a table in the restaurant. The interior is inviting and spacious with a direct view to the sushi masters doing their craft.The food was excellent, the selection of fresh Sushi is convincing. The service staff was always friendly and attentive.I will gladly return to the Sushimama. Sayonara!
