This is the best place for breakfast ever. The freshest eggs, homemade bread, crispy bacon, bottomless coffee, maple syrup, fresh oversized muffins, local flavor, friendly service, and no pretense (unlike a certain well known bakery and over priced restaurant in Hanover). The prices are ridiculously reasonable. And a terrific collection of salt and pepper shakers.Open only for breakfast and lunch, and closed Sundays.

We have enjoyed the lodge's breakfasts for a few years now. Best bacon anywhere... There are choices for eggs any style, pancakes or french toast along with fresh baked muffins, home fries and bacon/sausage. There's also a full cold buffet with fruits, cereals, juices and hot beverages but we are hooked on our favorites: omlettes or the HUGE pancakes. so pleased you love our breakfasts - I love popping in for a breakfast sandwich on a Portuguese muffin when taking a break from harvesting fresh tomatoes and chard for your omlets. Come back for one of the dinners (in the restaurant or just outside under the maple) on Thursday, Friday or Saturday.

Went here for dinner tonight and was more than pleasantly surprised by the selection of tap beers and diverse selection of food on the menu. The French onion soup was fantastic and rich, probably one the best I have ever had! The wings were good and the southern fried buttermilk chicken sandwich was really good. Everything was pleasantly delicious! The ambiance was update classic New England and waitress was pleasant and professional and I was glad I listened to her suggestions. The town is quaint and exactly what one would expect in a small New England town.I will be returning here again.

Our first time trying this place. Ordered the Chicken & Steak meal with Mashed Potatoes & Broccoli. Everything was cooked perfectly, meat was tender, potatoes were good and the broccoli was cooked just right. We each had a Margarita with we both enjoyed. Nice selection to choose from. Worth seeking it out, prices were reasonable. They do have outdoor seating in good weather.

This restaurant is in an old inn, which a front room (on a porch) and a back room (with a bar area). I like the back room better. Both are fairly noisy. The wine list is totally mediocre. Go here for the seafood. The lobster and scallops were wonderful. Rave reviews for the salmon and swordfish also. The calamari appetizer (it isn't breaded) was terrific. By far the best dessert was the espresso sorbet.

A unique and fun little place. Like a small roadhouse right in tiny Fairlee, Vermont with the "Chicken and Beer" sign outside calling you in. It was good. Beer and wine, LOTS of fried chicken (all thighs) dishes, some local fish tacos, shrimp on the special, and Asian style (seasoning, noodles, etc.) Small, but bright and friendly inside. Saw a pool table in a small room of the dining/bar area, and with hardwood floors, might get a bit loud when it's packed. But for was good and I'll go again next time through the area.
