Sahalie and Koosah Falls

We have vacationed in the Sisters area a couple times over the recent years and included this hike on our itineraries. Our friends actually hired a limosine the first time we went there as we were all on bicycles and without cars. We went back this summer because it's close to Sisters, it's an easy hike for a rest day off the bike and the scenery and falls are beautiful.

Proxy Falls

Reviewed By ksrich - Linwood, United States

An interesting trail to 2 wonderfully beautiful waterfalls. It says it is only 1 1/4 mile trail but after you are sure you have gone more than that, you all of a sudden find a waterfall. The trail could be rough for some people but an average person should be able to get within sight of the falls. We climbed down to the bottom of the lower falls and found it rather interesting getting back to the main trail. A very beautiful area.

Tumalo Falls

This trail was fantastic. You can drive right up to see the spectacular falls right from the parking lot, then our group did an 8 mile hike through the forest to the valley, with even more waterfalls and views along the way.

Steelhead Falls

This is an easy hike to a beautiful falls. The trail meanders along the stream in a small valley. Great place to bring lunch and spend time enjoying the sound of the water. Some sections past the falls are people/dog friendly for a dip in the stream.

Chush Falls

Reviewed By 641cindyf - Bend, United States

Chush Falls in Sisters, OR is about a 5 mile round trip easy groomed hiking trail from the parking area. However, for the best view of this beautiful water fall, one must make it down a pretty steep hill, and, depending on the time of year you go, it can be very slippery. I would recommend bringing a climbing rope with some grip knots to help keep your footing. We went in May, so the hill was washed out, wet and slick. This powerful fall is beautiful and I highly recommend a visit. We also made our way to Upper Chush Falls which is not grand, but still a beautiful trail and easy hike.
