This was our second year staying on the property and the condo was clean and cozy as usual. Last year, there was a lovely hot tub in the basement of the condo property, but this year it was drained and obviously not working, along with the sauna. However, those amenities are available in the main lodge, so we still were able to take advantage, in spite of the minor inconvenience of staying at Blackjack and having to make a fifteen minute drive to get there. The slopes were well groomed, in spite of a lack of natural snow for the prior three weeks (they have no control over the weather). All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and bartender Lori was very helpful about explaining the shuttle service between the two mountains. Loved it so much this year, that we may be back later in the month.

Great yarn shop and so much more... including bird feeders, bird houses, hand crafts (beautifully crafted), jewelry, honey, jelly, candles, carvings, novelty gifts etc. I can't wait to return the next time we are in the UP. For now, their web site is book marked. Nanettes is a wonderful find!
