Really nice park with lots of footpaths to suit each persons ability. Great views from the top and worth the effort of getting up there. Really nice place. Café / Tea room. Cheap for a nice cuppa and food is ok if you are hungry, but its really poor quality ingredient's. Personally I would rather pay a bit more for better quality food. Im not sure there was any meat in the sausage Sandwich !

An actual soft play we've not been too. !!!
After school birthday party for a friends 5yr old.
Soft play is great but the party food left ALOT of kids hungry and didn't look particularly fresh. I'm glad I'd not paid ££££ for it plus I had a younger child that I'd ordered dinner for.
Cheap fried meals. What does it take to get a decent after school meal !!!! I'd rather pay a decent price and get a decent meal. Not cheap sausages and value brown beans
Also the toilets were filthy. When you have boys that have to lift the seat is it that difficult to keep the seats clean? . Definitely not been cleaned all day.
Shame really the boys had a fab time playing. But we won't rush back.

fab place to go and lovely staff,we went for my daughters 13th birthday and really enjoyed it.

As a family we love walking our dog around the Reservoir. It is a pleasure to see all the ducks, geese, swans, etc. around the water. You see other people with their dogs, exchange pleasantries, and carry on the walk. Joggers, cyclists and other people make it a pleasant walk. The cafe is a nice way to take a break, with a large menu to choose from, hot and cold. It’s a relaxing way to enjoy leisure time. Photographers are a plenty with lots of wildlife photos to be taken, and birdwatchers are always in attendance. Well worth a visit. There is a car park situated off the A617. Go try it, you won’t be disappointed, and the walk is free. For families and all people.

Sherwood Observatory is the home of the Mansfield & Sutton Astronomical Society and is situated in Sutton-in-Ashfield overlooking the town of Mansfield to the north. The Observatory building comprises of a workshop, office, kitchen, toilet, storeroom and a lecture room as well as the Observatory dome itself which houses our hand built 24 inch Newtonian Reflecting Telescope.

My first Observatory experience and could not have been more impressed. The knowledge of the staff was incredible and i learnt so much. They were so helpful and friendly and explained everything so well. Answered all our questions. The scopes were brilliant and loved the range of views we got. We will return for the last open day of the season! Shame they aren't throughout the year.

great range of shops, cheap and cheerful, right next to bus station, food court, market, just need some more seats.
