Stoupa beach

Wow this was like going to Greece in the 80s . Warm, welcoming staff everywhere.Loads of sun beds gratis if you had a drink on the beach. Swimming easy if you have long legs, bit of a shelf in sand ,the middle of the curve of the beach but go in and get out either corner. Lots of fabulous food to suit all pockets.I never cooked in once in 25 days! The views are to die for,the sunsets amazing and everyday the sea was different .flat one day choppy the next. The only thing I have missed is Thai food, and spicy food, but that is why people come here because it has not got the usual holiday crap. Also NO ONE stands outside their restaurant harassing you, loved that.I chose where I wanted to eat based on my judgement and likes.Coming again !

Kalogrias Beach

Reviewed By dwj52 - Merseyside, United Kingdom

We arrived at Kalogria at about 10.45am, during the busiest week of the season. Avoiding the few expensive facilities, we immediately found 2 beds and umbrella belonging to Prizitpas, which were free (just bought a couple of drinks and had the usual wonderful lunch there) Of course the beach was busy and business thriving, but comments about every inch being packed are a bit wide of the mark. The sand is soft and the sea gorgeous. Obviously if you want a deserted beach, go in April or to a quiet island. The locals have to make a living and a lovely beach like Kalogria will be busy in high season.

We visited the area and rented a 200cc scooter from these guys. Amazing service and they did more than they had to. The scooter was in perfect condition. Couldn’t be more satisfied! If you are in the area just rent a scooter from them!
