The Silver Dollar Bar & Grill

Reviewed By tishette - Omaha, Nebraska

We went on a Friday night and the crowd increased as the night went on. Bartender/ cook/ Jack of all trades was friends honest and fun. Although he was alone he took great care of us and always asked if there was anything else he could do for us.
The bar is well lite and comfortable. The decor is appealing and everything was clean. We played pool for awhile and both tables had people waiting to play.
I suggest you try the buffalo fries. Was thinking they wouldn't be worth the name but where very good!

Living Memorial Gardens

Reviewed By limey52 - Madison, Wisconsin

This was the second time we have stopped at this beautiful garden on our way out West. Bring your camera - you will have plently of chances to take some lovely photos. It is run by volunteers. It is located downtown in Legion Park. It was built on an old municipal swimming pool. There is also an old train in the park.

It is another one of those hidden gems, that is right off the interstate.

Deadwood Trail

This is a great trail that offers 9.5 miles of paved cycling. Wide open spaces but pretty nonetheless and so worthwhile. I parked at the Legion park and rode the trail in both directions to ride it all.
