After the more commercial spots of Goa, Mumbai, seeing such clean, sparsely populated beach with clear skies & water is quite a revelation. didn't notice too many activities here, other than the few snack options just outside. There's a quaint Promenade at the periphery of the beach with Seating options & a lot of greenery to keep them less heated in the open sun.

Harihareshwar is famous for Lord Shiva temple.temple is very old and clean. There are shivlinga with 4 pind which refer as Bramha, Vishnu, Mahesh and Parvati. Temple and nearby hill area have huge history/Mythology associated with it.
Pradakshina/Parikrama of Temple makes this place unique. Parikrama route starts behind the temple. You have to climb Small hill and then get down from another side. You have to take a walk along the rocky coastal which exposed to strong waves and winds. Parikrama path is closed in monsoon and during high tide. Many people lost their lives during Parikrama.
A good place to visit for the temple and to witness nature's beauty.

Kondivali beach is untouched n less visited place near Diveagar. This beach is also known as Aaravi beach. Aaravi village is located on the southern side whereas Kondivali village on northern side hence it is known by two different names.
Beach is relatively small and rocky part towards Kondivali village side. Beach is clean and not sure about safety for swimming as we visited in monsoon. The road along the beach is best to ride but not in good condition.

well, this fort is at a good height and road approaching it is also a bit steep. i would recommed u to visit this place during our visit to harihareshwar for 2 reasons.... one is the view of the sea from the fort, (though the fort itself is in bad shape) and second the journey from harihareshwar to bangkot fort as it includes a nice 15min ferry ride where u can take ur car inside the ferry and cross savitri river.

It is said that the original Gold statue of Ganpati was dug out from a garden and was instituted here.
It is said that the golden statue was stolen some years ago. Someone says that it was retrieved and will soon be brought back. Someone else says a new one has been already made and expected with renovation of the temple. One never can find the real situation. This is located near Diveagar beach.
