My husband loves the cheese curds here. We also decided to take home the cranberry jack and the pizza jack which will be great on crackers. The farm is conveniently close to Watkins Glen.

We had a great tasting here at Barnstormer! Della was our sommelier, very nice and knowledgeable. Good wines and really nice atmosphere.

Magnus Ridge is our favorite winery in the Finger Lakes. Their wines are outstanding and their tastings are fabulous! I am craving some of their wonderful Chardonnay right now and am delighted to hear that they are following safe protocols during the Covid crisis. I can't wait to get there for curbside service! They are obviously intelligent and responsible business owners who care about the faithful customers and employees. Bravo!

Located on the West side of Seneca Lake just 5 miles north of Watkins Glen. We are a small farm winery that offers wine tastings as well as local products such as cheese, wine ice cream, beer, and juice for purchase. Great visit here the hostes new her wines and were proud of them. There Rieslings rocked the house its called Pure Arrogance and their Red called Highfalluten was good as well. I took home a bottle of each.

A British gentleman, Randy, owns the brewery, adding some good authenticity to a London style pub. We went there to help them celebrate their 3rd Year anniversary of operation. The interior is Brit-inspired, replete with beer-engine taps. They had 3 special anniversary offerings and one sold out quickly. I was so engrossed talking to the brewer, George, that I forgot to take pics. But, others have taken some real good images both inside and out. Check them on the web site or Facebook We arrived at 3:30 PM and brought our camp chairs outside and sat next to the deck above for shade. It also afforded us a great view of their property that slopes downward toward the lake and the lake itself. It's very family friendly, with kids and doggies galore. The music venues had at least three or four playing in sequence, different genres but nevertheless excellent performances. This was part of the brewerie's celebration. They don't have a kitchen but usually have a food truck on premises I believe. Now about the beers. They are served "warm" (to us Yanks) at 52-57 degrees F. They are served on the taps using a British beer engine (pump) from the cask to the glass. If you didn't understand this or missed the bartender's explanation (it was very crowded yesterday), you might come away with a negative impression. The beer styles might not exactly match what you are used to with other brew pubs. Each is on its own merits based on the brewer's interpretation and artistry with the grain, yeast, hops, etc. I liked them all and I've been drinking craft beers for 25 years in many different states. A bonus (for me): they are the only brew pub or house that makes English style ESB. That was my first choice and it didn't disappoint me. Cigars you ask? They have a small humidor with cigars from Rocco Gaetano's cigar company in the area. There were 33 listed but many got sold out. Rocco rolls his cigar leaves and infuses them with various house beers. Looking forward to the Brit-Italian beer/cigar connection! Parking is fairly decent and free. I'll be seeing them again at the NY State Cask Ale Festival at the Woodland Farm Brewery in Marcy, NY (north of Utica) on September 28th. It coincides with my 72nd birthday. Will be back again to visit next year.
