Great gallery with a wide variety of mosaics to see in a lovely garden setting. Plenty of flora and fauna to connect with. Trip over to Macleay on the water taxi is worth the effort.

Bay Islands Art & Scenic Tours

My own love of nature, geography, history and the arts has been the inspiration behind Bay Island Tours; I want visitors to see the natural beauty of our islands, to meet with local artists and to get ‘hands-on’ creating art for themselves. Each of the islands is different and has its own energy and vibe. On all of them, visitors notice the relaxed feel and slower pace of life, reminiscent of an earlier time. Tours are mixture of short walk and scenic drives.

Dalpura Beach

Reviewed By JennyOzzie - Brisbane, Australia

Many Brisbane people have never visited the Moreton Bay islands but there are some great spots. For an old fashioned beach holiday where you make your own fun on the beach and the water, Macleay Island is great and Dalpura beach is suitable for all to swim or just play for children and non-swimmers. It is tidal but still enjoyable to sit and chat in the water when the tide is out or swim when it is in. It is a real community playground and we love it and so do our dogs. We have a favourite beach house beside the boat ramp and the beach and it's perfect for families, friends and dog friendly. We booked the free bus to and from the Bowls club for a delicious dinner.
