Family of 4 (6 year old daughter and 3 yr old son) enjoyed a day at the park. Lots of rides - kids must be 36 inches to ride with an adult (48 inches to ride alone) which worked well for us. Good assortment of easy rides, fast rides, spinning rides (some are bit much - Turtles), water rides, and exciting speed up and down rides. We also had tea with Cinderella (adults do NOT need a ticket and I recommend NOT getting one!) - cute and the kids loved it. DInner with the characters at then end of the day (6pm) is pretty good - visited by each of the 6 characters and then a dance party for the kids. Long day - sleeping kids on the way back to our hotel.

On my most-recent trip to the towns from Ossipee to Intervale, I went beyond to revisit the Covered Bridge Shoppe in Glen. The shop is actually inside the bridge which is beside US-302 and is owned by the Covered Bridge House B & B. The path through most of the bridge into the shop was lined with decorative flags for sale. I stopped to admire and photograph several of them. Inside the shop, I looked over most of the merchandise that included souvenirs, items for the home, jewelry, T-shirts, sweatshirts, sports caps, candles, plush animals, toys, maple syrup, jam, etc. Although everything was of excellent quality and attractive, there was nothing that jumped off a shelf at me on this trip, but it was fun to browse and see many pretty things. I rate the Covered Bridge Shoppe at 5.0. If you found this review helpful, please click THANK below.

Living Shores Aquarium

We recently visited Living Shores aquarium. While it is quite small, my 8 year old daughter absolutely loved it. The nibble fish and touch tank were a huge hit. The aviary was also fun to visit. The highlight of our visit was feeding the rays. It was a great experience for my daughter. All the staff were so nice and helpful, but I would especially like to recognize the woman who gave the talk about the rays then helped the kids feed them. She was awesome!! I believe her name is Naomi. She was so knowledgeable about the animals and so great with the kids. She definitely is the reason our visit was five star worthy!

Listen, skiing is a process, not really an activity. Typically, you have to get up early in the morning, drive a good ways, deal with your kids, your pet(s), your spouse...there's feeding, parking, lift ticket acquisition, and GOD FORBID -- renting equipment to add to the mix. So come here. Why? Yes, it's reasonably priced. Sort of ridiculously so, really. But that's not why. You come here because there are really good humans inside. They will help you. They will make you smile. They will might even make you think that this stupid idea you had to take your family skiing wasn't the dumbest thing you've ever done before. They will make you want to come back and see them again. So, go in with a smile and you'll come out with one, too. And some skis. Good stuff!
