Vieille Ville

In this village, you can find amazing streets, a lot of typical food shops, souvenir shops and a Christmas shoo which is opened the all year (but is quite expensive). There are also several places for the wine tasting and where you can also buy wine. There are a lot of restaurants but most of the time you can't reserve a table /!\ It's quite difficult to park and it's not free most of the time. For a free parking, it's better to go in the bottom of the village. During Christmas time, there is a Christmas market. Around the village, it's full of vineyard.

This shop is incredible! You can buy bags of assorted prepackaged biscuits, or you can mix and match the ones you want and pay by the weight. The staff spoke very good English, but were patient with my husband and I practicing our French. The biscuits are so tasty, and the beignets are a true delight. Definitely drop in!

This is a fascinating, large shop with an amazing array of things to buy related to Christmas. the story behind the shop also is very powerful. My understanding is that an American GI saw a few toys that the founder had created and encouraged her to open a story after World War II. She did and has been enormously successful. The shop is on a couple of levels. You can walk through. the range of things available is incredible - and some of the things are real treasures. Strongly recommended. This is like walking into a story book. We did a Christmas Market river cruise and this by far was our favorite town! Out of all the markets, this one took credit cards in some cases, in addition, it had different and unique items. After awhile a lot of the markets started to look alike. It's historical and gorgeous at the same time. It's a definite must if you haven't been. People were coming from all over to visit this little place.
