We visited Anayirangkal on a summer morning when there were hardly any tourists around. You can take a canoe to the lake all by yourself and enjoy the breathtaking valley view around.

Chathurangapara View Point

Reviewed By 1abhijitl - Pune, India

First experience of touching the base of a windmill and hearing the sound of the turbine mounted on a hill top. The drive is nearly upto the top and then one needs to walk a 30deg climb for say 200m and then we see Tamil Nadu villages deep down below and also some other windmill turbines far away in then plane. Western Ghats separate the two states in fact the windmill is on Tamil Nadu land instead of Kerala. Good Photo shoot , picnic and fresh air view and any hill top is a always full of wind, so enjoy nature Ima green environment surrounded by hills , windmills and deep down planes. I am sure there are trekking routes here but did not attempt

Anchuruli Waterfalls

Reviewed By majeed3133 - Adivad, India

Overview Situated amongst the gushing locations in Western Ghats Land and providing an enchanting view of the semi-evergreen forests grasslands, Anchuruli Waterfalls (also spelt as Anjuruli) is a surreal location definitely worth visiting. The water that comes from Erattayar River is used for the Idukki hydro-electric project. A tunnel which is 2 km long passes through Erattayar and Anchuruli carrying water to the lake. Though the tunnel is dangerous, it is a fun place to take a stroll at especially for all the adventure lovers

Cheeyappara Waterfalls

Reviewed By AjayVenkatesh - Mumbai, India

We were en route munnar driving from Cochin and we happens to stop by this huge waterfall right beside the road. What a breathtaking sight. We spent 30 odd minutes here admiring nature. It was empty and hardly people there due to off season so we could park right in front of the fall and enjoy it's beauty. You get tea coffee nearby in case you want to have some snacks. You can't go inside the fall you can just enjoy the beauty from outside.
