Snow Fun Safaris Lapland

Reviewed By DerekW1689 - New Forest National Park Hampshire, United Kingdom

We’ve been to Akaslompolo twice and both time have used snow fun safaris . Last year my wife and I did the reindeer safari and hired a snow mobile for an hour . The staff were excellent and very friendly . We went back this year with our daughter and grandson and repeated what we did the previous year. Again we couldn’t fault the staff , they will even pick you up from your accommodation .

Seven Fells Up

Every tour we signed up for was filled with adventure and local knowledgeable guides that gave great history on the area. From the snowshoeing up to the Kuers, up through Äkäslompolo with salmon soup to the evening northern lights tour, I loved every one of them! Highly recommend this company! Thanks to Keijo, Artturi and our northern lights tour guide! I learned so much about the beautiful country of Finland.

Go there to get info about the area. They can guide you if you want to explore ( own car) - Snow Vilage, Husky farm, Reindeer farm etc.or go show shoeing or cross country skiing on your own . The map they give is of course a must. The tour companies take you but usually each tour is upwards of $ 100! Nice building & with a nice cafe to warm you up
