We went to Palestine for Polar Express. Our hotel had the Grinch's Lair advertised. It was a great Christmas time experience for the family. Would definitely recommend.

Great little railroad local history Museum! The curators of the museum have done a wonderful job of presenting the history of the railroad in Anderson County and Palestine Texas. We are lucky to have a resource like this in our small City. It is close to the visitor station and by the farmers market in the downtown. The folks there a very knowledgeable and helpful! Palestine wouldn’t be here now without the railroad. The big Union Pacific rail yard is right across the street. I’m a former mayor of the city and I may be biased but I highly endorse it!
