This is the second year we have visited Kavala and The Blue Rooster Emporium, so many beautiful things to buy, stunning ceramics and pottery and fabulous olive wood items so much choice of gifts, all designed and made in Greece too, add to that friendly and helpful staff, and it truly is an essential stop off.

This is a thematic museum that contains artefacts and archive material on the cultivation and production of tobacco, it's agricultural and commercial processing, industrial tobacco products, and exhibits of sample tobaccos. The uniqueness of the Museum lies in the fact that not only does it contain an exhibition on the processing of Oriental tobaccos (which are not found in any other museum in the world), but also in the fact that it is a museum that showcases economic and social history as well as the history of technology in Kavala and Eastern Macedonia and Thrace more broadly. The collection of the Kavala Tobacco Museum is exceptionally rich.

Imaret is the best hotel in Kavala, with an excellent coffee place with Kavala's view !! We were there for a coffee, and we enjoyed the perfect arab architecture, and the perfect service.

The largest section of the museum is dedicated to the permanent exhibition with the title “Neapolis – Christoupolis – Kavala”, the subject of which is the diachronic presence of the town through its monuments.

its a nice building at suburn "panagia".... with color ..nice walls and ceiling with beautiful color painting ...and an amazing floor of glass...so you can see some part of the first first church of jesus christ in this area.... after church the building used from philharmonic of municipality of kavala....and now some times culture events happens there..
