Stonehouse Chaffee Crossing

I originally rated Stonehouse with three stars due to the subpar service and food quality, but I gave it a reluctant second chance after a few friends encouraged me to go. I was pleasantly surprised that the food was much better. I had the spinach dip with pita chips and the brussel sprouts, and they were both excellent. We ate at the bar, and the bar tender was friendly and attentive, which was a much better experience than the first time we attended. I would have given five stars, except for the exorbitant price of the wine. I had two glasses of red wine (that was literally 1/4 of a glass full), and it was $30 dollars. The entire bottle of Cay Conundrum is less than $25 dollars. I understand they have to make money, but that is excessive, especially when it's not even a full serving. Overall, I would go back. I will just be a little more selective in my drink choice next time.

Stone House

We enjoyed most everything here. Food was really good, and included farm fresh salads, & amazing steaks. Service was very good as well. Only complaints: pork chop way good but took quite awhile to arrive, & was taken off of the bill. Otherwise very, very loud environment, & because of that I won't return, unless it's cool enough to sit outside. They have a lovely veranda overlooking the woods, very peaceful.

LongHorn Steakhouse

My family loves Longhorn. The men love the steak. They say it is consistently cooked to perfection. The girls have chicken and we think it is delicious. The sides and bread are a wonderful compliment to the meal. The atmosphere is casual, but very nice. My favorite part is that it is not loud like a lot of steak houses. I want to have a conversation with my meal. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting a nice meal.

We’ve been to a number of these restaurants and always had a good experience. Great variety on the menu and love that they list calories on the menu (some very surprising things listed!). Service was fantastic and the flavor was great as well. Steak, chicken and shrimp dishes delivered as expected. Definitely a good stop.

Texas Roadhouse

Lively dining with a full restaurant and great food. There were enough servers to keep things ticking along, and there must have been lots of people in the kitchen behind the scenes because there were no delays in the food arriving.Makensi was an excellent server, and it was good to be allowed to finish our meal without being asked halfway through if we wanted dessert. The bill came after we had finished.Other establishments could learn from this experience, and both of us recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Doe's Eat Place is the premier place for Steaks and has one of the largest selections of wine in the area. Doe's is located in the historic Joseph Knoble's Brewery which is on the national historic registry and was built in 1848.

We recently took our nephew to Doe's, prior his departure for basic training in the Marines. We thoroughly enjoyed it, as always. Afterwards, we agreed it will now be a new "send off" tradition when he is home. Love the unique environment, excellent steak and shrimp, and exceptional service. A must "go-to" place in Fort Smith. Better than in Northwest Arkansas, and one of the top two or three places to eat in the area. Be sure to go hungry, and enjoy!
