Go here if you want well aged. well seasoned tender meat!!! We had the Chorizo criollo artesano, Chuletón deshuesado (meat) and the tarta de queso. What elevates the experience even more, is that the serve a "grill" in your table and you can cook the meat to your liking. The tarta de queso was very unique too and a must try! Servers were a bit rude (clearly they prefer locals over tourists), barely anyone could speak English and it was difficult to catch their attention. At first, they were giving us a hard time for wanting to have lunch without a reservation, but actually their restaurant was not full (even when we left) so surely, there was never a problem to sit us!!

We visited to take a drink and some pintxos, due to the weather being unseasonably warm,the restaurant was busy, & it was after the traditional lunch service time.We waited at a table on the terrace and were ignored, therefore went inside to order at the bar, again we were ignored and no-one to serve us. Once I caught the eye of a waiter, I was snapped at by a very rude bald headed waiter,"the restaurant diners come first". Eventually got served and had very nice Pintxos, had to ask for ice for one drink and got rolling eyes treatment. Won't be returning & have a very big family living in Santurtzi,whom I'm assured won't be returning.

This bar has a super modern feel and is really clean. They have a decent selection of Pintxos and drink specials. The quirky thing is they're always playing American music and music videos but I love the vibe.

We walked the very nice marina of Getxo and wondered in this restaurant hoping in a nice meal. We were not disappointed at all.The sangria was delicious, the meat amazing and just cooked for us, the croquettes were delicious.It was quite and, although we thought it was slightly pricy for a lunch menu, it was worth it and the service was very nice. They do offer also nights with concerts and shows and it all brings to a great environment with a great waterfront view

Found Txakoli Simon online before I boarded the plane at Barcelona. Was supposed to check in first but decided to go straight to the place with our luggage and was the best decision ever.Warning: It's not possible to walk, its uphill, very secluded and easily accessible with car/taxi only. Did not see any buses around the area.... which is why we were thankful we went straight from Bilbao airport before heading down to the hotel as it was kind of "on the way".It's a self service place but I guess because we were so blur, the staff decided to serve us instead. We chose to sit outside to get the charcoal grill. Sitting inside is only the teppan style grill. I guess it's for safety purposes.We ordered the rubia beef, served rather raw and we cook according to our preference. They also served us bread - goodness gracious the bread is warm and so freshly baked! We were kind of the first or second so perhaps it was the first batch. We ordered a salad to share - portion is really huge. We loved our experience here, be it food or staffs, everything's perfect! Great place to try Galician beef for a very reasonable price. We paid 51 euros for two including wine so it's actually pretty good price!
