3 and 5 day ski clinics developed and run in part by Olympic skiers Phil and Steve Mahre. A unique teaching progression focuses on the fundamentals of skiing to improve your skills in all conditions. The camps are for those 14 and older and have set dates in December, January and February of each year. All skiing abilities are encouraged, from the 1st time skier to someone who has skied for years and is looking to push past ability plateaus. This years dates: December 11-13, 2020; December 14-18, 2020; January 22-24, 2021; January 25-19, 2021; and February 26-28, 2021

I worked for Deer Valley from 2002 to 2012, during that time as a full-time instructor I had the privilege of helping to coach the Mahre Training Camps. I have worked with individuals and groups in ski schools for over 40 years. This is the best, most value packed program there is. As a coach, it has always been important that there is a consistent approach and progression that is used by all coaches. The Mahre brothers spend considerable time with the coaches fine tuning the instruction given, creating a coaching team that is "one the same page". Another highlight of this program is the quality time the Mahre brothers spend coaching the groups everyday...this is not the typical guest appearance too often seen with high profile individuals. They coach with a style that is very specific to the Camp attendee, with detailed and specific exercises to build skier skills. It's rare to find competitors who were the best in the world in their day become such skilled communicators and clinicians. If you like an organized progression of exercises to build skills (and come away with a vast improvement in your skiing) this program is for you. The social aspects of this program are another strong point.
